A Reader

This boy has finally 'got' reading. It was Andy Griffiths that did it. He started reading the Tree House Series before Christmas and had them all done before school went back. We've brought a few more of AG's books and got more from the Library. He's also reading David Walliams. And recently started the Series of Unfortunate Events books by Lemony Snickett. I love it. It's one of my favourite stages of childhood. The big kids are still readers but their passion has been tempered by their ready access to technology, so they're more likely to be found on the internet rather than with their heads in a book. I hope this stage lasts a very long time for Will and will be putting up some serious resistance to getting him any iPads. iPods, DS's or other electronic crap.
