'You've had a good day son....'

This was a good week....

Because...
... Les got out and hit some golf balls.
... More BMXing.
... I drank no coffee.
... Les fixed the washing machine.
... I did some scrapbooking.
... Will, Tama, Robert and I went to the Falls for fun.
... Merenia had her dance night at Kalamunda.
... Tama and I had a nice afternoon reading stories.
... Kieran spent the day with Nadya.
... Merenia went to Scitech with friends and slept over at Adrianas.
... Kieran, Nadya and Russel went to the Basket Ball.
... We filled up the skip bins and tidied the yard.
... Kieran helped the Pramonos celebrate Nadya's sister's birthday.

"You've had a good day son"  is the punchline of a joke my dad used to tell about a father, his son, a bear won in a side show at a carnival and a Mini Car... it's a great joke and the one liner punchline has stayed with us for a very long time. This weekly post is about being grateful for the little and big things in our lives and celebrating success the grand and everyday kind.

Peachy Park- Kewdale.

Another in Les' Parks of Perth tour. Peachy Park is not far from his work and I dropped the boys and their bikes off after work one day and they explored this one.

Magic

Each school holidays our community libraries adopt a theme and then have some activities around it. In October it was magic and Hey Presto came to the Lesmurdie Library and the boys were hugely entertained!

Mundaring and the Camel Farm, again.

Just before Talea was born we took Layla to Mundaring Weir and the camel farm. While we were at the Weir we saw some cool stuff we hadn't seen before.... You might need to click on these pictures to spot them yourself. :-)

Mother duck and her EIGHT ducklings.

Four Splendid Blue Fairy Wrens- including three juveniles that hadn't got their splendid blue plumage.

A King Skink

A little Crevice Dragon sunning himself on a rock.

Then we went on to The Camel Farm and indulged in Camel Toe Biscuits and Iced Chocolates.
