'You've had a good day son....'

This was a good week....

Because
... Kieran went to a mentoring session.
... Tama and I had a great time at John Oldham Park.
... Will had an Icy pole day at school.
... Merenia competed in the Da Vinci Decathlon.
... The new Hockey Coach is awesome!
... Nadya came over.
... subway lunch for Will.
... There was no late practice on Thursday.
... We got to borrow a bed for Ehren
...  Easter Hat parade at school.
... a quick catch-up with Bel, Tony, and Noah.
... Eggs from Robert and Clare.
... School Holidays!!
... we have four sons in the house for a change. And two mums as well.
... the kids palpable excitement and eventual joy at Ehren's arrival- surprising how much a whole other brother makes everyone so happy.
... A great time was had by all at the Rio Tinto Naturescape, Synergy Parklands, Belmont Volcano Park and Belmont Oasis pools.
... Frozen drinks from Hungry Jacks.
... Playing shops
... yummy home-made Pizza.
... a little gecko inside.
... treats from NZ.
... Easter! And one massive mother-load of Easter eggs and pressies.

"You've had a good day son"  is the punchline of a joke my dad used to tell about a father, his son, a bear won in a side show at a carnival and a Mini Car... it's a great joke and the one liner punchline has stayed with us for a very long time. This weekly post is about being grateful for the little and big things in our lives and celebrating success the grand and everyday kind.
