W&T

These two.

Oh my.

They can be terrific or absolutely vile to each other.

Tama misses Will fiercely when he is at school or otherwise engaged. I'm not sure how Will feels because he seldom gets to have a break from his brother. During the holidays they were pretty amazing together most of the time- they have to be on the same side against a common enemy and not competing. Or they fight and man do they fight. Will is physically stronger because he's bigger so he mostly wins- but Tama certainly knows how to hold his own. I think Tama will catch up too. We need to make sure they are firm friends as they get older or things could get dicey.

Their imaginary games are often about war-craft and hunting. Will is Alex the Archer and Tama is Steve the Swordsman they travel vast lands in the backyard hunting their quarry and fighting the good fight. Will most often leads and certainly makes the most decisions- but many of the decisions he makes are Tama's ideas disguised as his own.

When they have races Will cheats. He has to win, and it's not always assured. And while Tama would like to win and often gets frustrated when the cheating is grossly obvious he doesn't mind losing so much.

Tama is fearless. Anything Will can do... he will do to, no questions asked, no thought given- just launches himself in there.

The hardest thing is when they get intimidating towards each other. They can both be equally fearsome and overbearing with fists and words. It's most likely to happen when they are playing with toys. Will wants something that Tama has or Tama is touching something important in Will's Lego Hero universe.

But for the most part they look out for and look after each other. Should there be some sort of marauding force at school they will stand strong together defending the Stockley name... or whatever honour it is. They take care of each other at night- on the windy and stormy ones. And on the ones where they just aren't ready to go to sleep- but they're confined to bed anyway.

They're really quite lovely boys.
