Tiny Tales Week 3

Still in the thick of school holidays and Western Australian Summer.... so lots of water play in the late afternoon- the paddling pool is significantly warmer than a tepid bath. And the water that's been sitting in the hose all day can actually burn you!

Les and the boys have been doing a bunch of 'adventuring' at Lesmurdie falls.

It's so hot and dry the bees come down to the water's edge to drink.

One morning this week I was awoken early by Will to tell me he was trying to catch a lizard in the pantry... 40 minutes later turns out it was a little Gecko.

Will set him free.

And I cleaned out the whole pantry- seeing as how I had already started on a sort out.

We got some cool activities from the Library and Merenia helped Tama to make his.

More adventuring.

Will, Merenia and I hit the mall on Saturday for the last of the school stuff. Will's physio asked that we get flat soled shoes... Will wanted the spotty boots with glitter and pink laces. Not really suitable for school.

A trip to Pioneer park for Les and the littles.

And then to Dome which they have declared their new favourite since the Eiffel Tower Cafe closed down.

Nude sandpitting.... not my idea of a good time.

Yet more adventuring at the falls.

Oh look... we have FOUR kids!

Oh... and some water play for a change. :-)
