Tiny Tales from Week 26

This week saw Merenia home for a sick day- I gave her and Tama breakfast in bed... fruit toast wasn't a good choice... lots of crumbs! :-)

Tama enjoyed the fruits of his birthday!

Will was also home 'sick'- his was more of a mental health day. By the end of term he really is at the end of his rope. He doesn't like school citing recess and lunch as the only semi-decent parts of his day. Although neither those nor his friends are worth going to school for.

The rain has seen some interesting growth around the garden.

The weekend saw some welcome sunshine- I went to netball (they won again).

And Les and Tama worked on the path. (And a wall built for me, apparently, by Tama).

We had a stop in to see Les and partake of Tama's favourite work based activity. He asks to go to Les' work every week. He would have been in heaven if he'd been big enough to enjoy the base while Les was still in the RNZAF.

Good mail for me.

Some pompom fine motor practice fun for Will.

Merenia had two performances at school.

Tama had a catch up with Les on the phone and 'showed' him what he'd been up to. He literally holds the screen of the phone up to what he is talking about. :-)

Boots stretched and new tights.

The second night of Merenia's music. I ended up having to take the boys home... they just could keep their shit together. It was only supposed to be an hour.... was more like two.

This is our neighbour EJ.

And here's Merenia playing and singing with her group from music class.
